You guys are a great crowd, and there are nearly no problems with our audience. Nearly 100% of you abide by all of our rules and the theater’s rules, and we appreciate you all the more for it.

However, occasionally someone will get out of hand and forget a rule or two (or how to behave in polite civilization)- so we’ve had to go back to the drawing board and write up all of our rules. This was to make sure that we keep everything above the boards and there is no question as to what the rules are.

We want everyone to have fun but we also want to be able to continue with the show at the Screenland. Keep an eye out here on the webpage, Facebook, and Twitter for the rules that we all need to abide by to ensure that the tradition goes on!

80s Night!

We are getting ready for the first theme show of the year here at Fishnets and Floorshows, and since we have slacked a bit on them- we decided to do it right! We are honoring the 80s with a night all about a decade…some of our audience wasn’t even alive in…but that’s okay! We can teach you.

We want teased hair, mirrored sunglasses, neon leggings, sweater dresses, parachute pants and cosby sweaters. Oh yes, there will be denim.

We will be randomly giving out 80s prizes to those who come in costume and we feel have adequately paid tribute to the decade that gave us thriller, new coke and the last time Eddie Murphy was funny.

So we are putting out the call, we are looking for some trannies that want to join up with us and play!

We are looking for people flexible (well…THAT way too) that are open to playing different roles and can switch around when needed.

Also- anyone who wants to help out- we always need help loading and unloading the theater- as well as spotlights. So either comment here or use the contact form to let us know.

Hey guys- you probably noticed a few changes around the site.

At least I hope you do- we did a full redesign and totally upgraded the site. But, with that means possible bugs. So if you see anything wonky- just use the contact form from the link in the menu and let me know.

Also- still have a few things to add, so if something looks like it’s borked- just give it a second and hit refresh, or check back later.

We’re pretty sure everything should go smoothly though. :: fingers crossed ::

Rocky Horror kicks off 2010!

So here we are 3rd season in kansas city! We have lots of fun in store for you this year and will keep mixing things up to keep it exciting.

This saturday night we start our third season at the screenland crossroads at 10pm. Remember- January 16th at the screenland crossroad.

Tickets are only 8.00 and available here.
Prop bags are available for 3.00

And, as always- don't forget the virgins!!!

We are very excited here at Fishnets and Floorshows. Why? Because for us, it's the most wonderful time of the year! Fall and more directly, Halloween is the biggest time of year for Rocky Horror. Those who haven't seen the show in a long time dust off those corsets and make their way out, virgins finally take that leap, and the sluts…well they are always there

Fact- my buddy Marc is a great guy. We know this, because he’s my friend. But what you might not know, just be virtue of being my friend, is that he is an incredible artist. With a project he just completed, you are about to find out.
